- Receive 1000 words of editorial notes on plot, pacing, dialogue, and character development.
- Talk through your questions in a private 45 minute coaching session.
- Understand the strengths of your writing and the areas that need more work.
- Know exactly what your next steps are and how to improve your manuscript.
Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of feedback will I receive?
You will receive professional, honest feedback that looks closely at every part of your story. This is not a light pat on the back or surface-level praise. The goal is to show you clearly what is working and what needs to change so you can grow as a writer and strengthen your manuscript.
Will you read the entire manuscript?
Yes. Every manuscript is read in full with meticulous notes. Nothing is skimmed or skipped. Your feedback reflects a full understanding of your story from beginning to end.
How detailed is the editorial feedback?
You will receive a comprehensive editorial letter of at least 1000 words, covering plot, pacing, dialogue, character development, strengths, and weaknesses. Along with that, you’ll have a one-hour coaching session to ask questions and talk through the feedback.
What happens after I receive the feedback?
The editorial letter gives you a clear starting point. You’ll understand what is working in your manuscript, where the weak spots are, and how to begin addressing them. Many writers find that even one round of honest feedback shifts the way they see their story and opens the door for meaningful revision.
What if I want to go deeper into the notes?
If you want more support, we offer coaching sessions where you can work through the feedback in detail. These conversations give you space to ask questions, unpack challenges, and move forward with confidence.
Is there ongoing support beyond the review?
Yes. We would love to invite you to join our Writing After Hours group: a community of authors where you’ll find resources, encouragement, and accountability.
